"shallow hindi movie-going public"! which, is not something i'm a part of. i can understand ur argument about the song in the movie's context, but when i listen to a song, i dont appreciate it becoz it played a key role in the movie (i dont think anybody does). i appreciate it if it binds together very well. this song doesnt.

The point was this song is hardly as bad as you make it out to be - unless you're playing an elitist. Heavy Metal: " thick, massive sound, characterized by highly amplified distortion, extended guitar solos, emphatic beats, and overall loudness." - which part of this isn't consistent with this song?
5. TheSundancebill: This is thrash metal. I loud them for there efforts. Suraj has sang this phenomenally well & made India Metal scene proud. Lets not find faults.. He has the guts.

And they were also forced to do such "shaadi" type albums by the producer following the win. And funnily enough, most "reviewers" at the time the album released didn't get heavy metal either, and bashed the song as "noisy". I'm no fan of metal, but still the stupidity of some "critics" here is staggering.

Pranjal Mishra: @ayeshatakia2008 listened to the song 6 times in a row just to find out wht the hell every1's on about!.. 2nd review- good vocals, good drummer, mediocre guitarist (respect BTW, for trying to do a pantera thing, but i guess he goofed up on the main riff), pathetic bass, and just about the worst producers in the world (couldnt mix anything properly except for the vocals!) and the song isnt loud just bcoz the vocalist screams here and there!.. if sum1 think its loud, turn down ur fucking speakers!

113. Rahul Tiwari: Hi, hope this still helps. So basically, the song is about snakes. Saanp(Hindi) = Snakes. "Saanp" is basically a metaphor here, how everyone has to deal with them (Betrayal i guess). And the rest of the song is all things snake-ish.
